My paintings are an exploration and interpretation of the world I inhabit. Through

landscape, figuration and manipulation, I paint locations and the emotions of the people

that inhabit them. I believe that every place has a unique quality, and through paint you

can bring to light the stories of the beings that inhabited them. My current series

‘Dreamstates’ takes locations from both my childhood and my current self and

transforms them into locations devoid from life. However, this highlights that these

locations carry a unique human experience and have a sense of human life even with

the lack of human presence.
